Help boost kerb appeal; mow the grass, cut back overgrown hedges and branches and deadhead any plants. Jet wash the patio and clean any furniture. Spruce up your front door with a fresh coat of paint, it will really transform the look of your property. A smart pot plant or colourful hanging basket outside your front door will also give the frontage an instant lift.

Keep the interior fresh, timeless and simple

A fresh coat of paint can instantly re-energise the appearance of a room.  To target a wider market, stick to neutral colours throughout.  Opt for high-quality, durable paints as the colour will last longer and you will need to redecorate less frequently. Use mould and water-resistant paint for kitchens and bathrooms.  Fit doorstops on every door to protect the walls and skirting.
